Ring Care and Maintenance

Wood Rings

Durability:

All of the Wood we use has been through a process called stabilization. Stabilization is the process of removing the air out of the wood and impregnating it with resin. This is mostly done in a vacuum chamber. Doing this makes the wood more durable and water resistant. To increase the durability of our wood rings we also use an oil finish that seals and bonds together the grain of the wood.

Care:

Our wood rings are water-resistant, however, over time, exposure to heat, chemicals, and longterm exposure to water may prematurely wear down the finish on the ring. While you can wear it in the shower or in the pool, we recommend taking them off. For Maintaining the color and finish of your wood ring we recommend using Renaissance Wax which can be found on Amazon. Occasionally what you do is hand rub a little bit on your ring with a paper towel or rag. Let it dry for a few min. Then hand buff it with a soft cloth.
